Forgiven…No Longer Burdened by Guilt
Dwell on the truth that Jesus will cleanse your conscience from guilt. Will you take Him at His word? If there is any past sin for which you are still feeling guilty, claim God’s complete forgiveness today. You have forgiveness—NO LONGER BURDENED by guilt.
Justification: Righteous…No Longer Guilty
Dwell on the fact of your justification—being declared righteous so that you are now perfectly acceptable to a holy God based on your faith in His Son. Declare this to yourself: “I am declared righteous in God’s eyes because of my faith in Jesus Christ.”
Sanctification: Perfected…No Longer Flawed
Dwell on the FACT that God declares you holy because of your faith in Christ. You are set apart by Him, for Him. In God’s eyes, you are perfected…no longer flawed—because of your faith. This is the Spirit’s work of sanctification.

We humans have a spiritual problem that can be compared to death caused by a fatal sin disease. The gospel is God’s cure to that fatal sin disease.
