“What’s In Your Treasure Chest?” Retreat
Americans seek anything that will satisfy the spiritual hunger in our soul, often filling our treasure chests with substitutes for the real thing. These messages from Ephesians will teach you that the treasure we have in Jesus Christ is more powerful and effective than any substitutes we could put in our “treasure chests.”
Are you willing to get rid of your substitutes and cling to your treasure in Christ alone? (Choose from several sessions.)
What you will discover through a “What’s in Your Treasure Chest?” retreat:
What’s in Your Treasure Chest? Today’s women are seeking anything that will satisfy the spiritual hunger in their souls, filling their “treasure chests” with many substitutes for the real thing. The treasure we have in Jesus Christ is more powerful and valuable than anything we could substitute for Him.
Lavished with Jewels: We have spiritual blessing riches like beautiful jewels that belonged to us from the moment we placed our faith in Christ. Consider why these treasures given in Jesus Christ are more valuable than anything we could provide for ourselves.
Lavished with Love: We are dearly loved children of God, Someone who wants us to converse freely with Him through prayer. The treasure we have in our Father God who loves us dearly is more powerful than anything we could substitute for Him.
Live in the Power: We can live successfully in the power of God’s Spirit already available to us, who is greater than anything we could substitute for Him.
Spread the Riches: As light-bearers, we can lead people living in darkness to seek the treasure in Jesus Christ that is more powerful, valuable, and effective than anything they have been substituting for Him.
